Accountability Agents

Global CBPR Forum-recognized Accountability Agents (AAs) perform a key role in the Global Cross Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) and the Global Privacy Recognition for Processors (PRP) Systems. AAs certify that the privacy policies and practices of participating companies are compliant with the Global CBPR and Global PRP Systems’ Program Requirements.

Through the Global CBPR and Global PRP Systems, Forum-recognized AAs work collaboratively with companies, consumers and governments to resolve privacy complaints and facilitate trusted cross-border data transfers.
